Our client is a leading energy company with an immediate requirement that offers a superb in-house legal opportunity for an accomplished solicitor.  

 

As a leader in the constantly evolving renewable energy sector the company passionately navigates an ever changing environment. Its highly motivated management and work force are fully integrated, ensuring maximisation of all aspects of the business from sales through to planning, construction and operations.  

 

Backed by a substantial in-house team to ensure seamless legal support, due to ever increasing levels of work the team has an urgent requirement for an accomplished mid-level solicitor with circa four years corporate commercial experience ideally gained in the energy and renewables sector. Working as part of a highly energetic team on a broad range of sector focused work, you’ll already be a bright, confident and highly responsive lawyer, used to working largely unsupervised or in an team and sharing responsibility for more junior members of the team.  

 

Academically and technically assured your background will demonstrate a keen and organised ability in relation to complex due diligence work and document drafting. With a passion for quality and detail you can look forward a rich diet of corporate/commercial drafting work including drafting and negotiating share purchase and asset purchase agreements, transfer agreements exclusivity agreements, NDA’s, introducer agreements, developer agreements and heads of terms.  

 

In an industry that is constantly changing this is no cookie cutter role and thus legal agility, commercial foresight and strong business acumen are all part of the requirement. With an ever increasing international client base, fluency in one or more European languages would be a valuable asset.
