Our client is a large multi-faceted firm that has concentrated for many years on providing excellent value in all areas of its services to a predominantly domestic client base.

​

Having enjoyed considerable success in recent years through organic growth and strategic hiring in complementary practice areas, the firm is looking to appoint an energetic and experienced partner as Head of Private Client.

 

Tasked with growing a team around them and incorporating either immediately or over time a full range of private wealth services, the firm is committed to ensuring this with the hire of an experienced partner or a team.



Ideally you'll bring a wealth of essential expertise in wills, trusts, tax and probate together with proven ability of building and maintain a reputable private client practice. You'll be fully at ease with the need to provide proactive advice on high value and complex tax and estate planning, including wealth protection structures for a wide range of clients often with business assets. A good working knowledge of Tax, particularly IHT, CGT, and IT is also sought and ideally you or possibly your team will also handle complex probates and all other private client services.

Naturally you'll be highly proficient at servicing the private wealth needs of high net worth individuals with significant assets in the UK and ideally abroad, though the latter is less of a requirement.

​In line with such an exciting opportunity, you'll be a confident, energetic and proficient lawyer; a team player, proven marketer, manager, mentor, motivator and team builder. Whilst the nature of the opportunity will afford a good deal of autonomy, you'll be open and approachable an eager to integrate with others in the firm who will be on hand to support in developing the firm's private client presence in the London legal market.
